1996 Fender American Stratocaster

I bought this guitar in 1996. When I moved to Northern California, I sold all my music equipment to help fund the trip. I wasn't really attached to any of the guitars I had at that point so it was no big deal. I knew things would turn around for me and I would be able to get a nicer guitar. While not really a "metal" guitar, I've always wanted a strat. The stock pickups are not beefy enough for metal, and I tried to put in some stacked single coil pu's to beef it up but it just wasn't as crunchy as I like. So I replaced the stock pickguard with one that can hold some humbuckers. I did nothing to the guitar other than that, except for lock down the tremolo. I use this guitar for playing stuff that is tuned down a 1/2 step. I don't have the exact specs on the guitar, but here's some pictures.
